Create your Offer
before you create an offer, you'll want to decide what success event you want to pay for you can set any event that is captured in your crm, for example, email subscription opt ins, scheduled demos, qualified leads, or completed deals you can also create a success event when a buyer completes a purchase on your website via stripe you can create offers with multiple success events, so we recommend incentivizing referral partners for bringing prospective buyers and rewarding them when the buyer makes a purchase get started by navigating to the offers section and clicking https //app soundgtm com/companies/offers/new offer name create a title that describes your offer this is the headline displayed alongside your company name to referral partners browsing the offer marketplace we recommend an offer name that follows the form of "$x for icp at industry/company type " for example $500 for sales or training leaders in pharma $5k $20k for heads of growth/cmos at ecommerce companies $2k+ for early stage startup founders if your offer will have a percentage payout, such as 10% of new customer contract, then we recommend including a range of the expected payouts based on range of contract values payout period set the number of days after the success event that you'll pay the referral partner during this window, you'll be able to confirm the success event and authorize payment we recommend keeping the window short (e g 30 days) to incentivize referral partners who want to get paid quickly max conversions set the number of conversions you want to pay for each referral partner and for each buyer you can keep both values unlimited by keeping the fields blank, or you can set limits for example, you can limit success events to only pay for a buyer's first purchase and ignore subsequent purchase events and/or create offers that pay a referral partner for their first referral in most cases, if you are creating offers to schedule demos, get qualified leads, and sign new customers, we recommend leaving the fields blank to set them as unlimited expiration you have the option to set an expiration date for each offer after the expiration date, no new leads are accepted and eligible for future conversion events if you don't set an expiration date, you can manually suspend the offer at any time note that any leads received before the expiraiton date or suspension remain eligible for conversion and payout until your success event payout window closes for example, if you create a payout window of 30 days, and an expiration date of dec 1st, 2024, a lead received on nov 30th will remain eligible for payment if the buyer converts before dec 31st, 2024 tags select the tags that best describe the kind of product, industry vertical, ideal company size and department, etc to help match the offer with relevant referral partners if you don't see relevant tags, reach out to mailto\ support\@soundgtm com and we can add them for you offer description your offer description will help referral partners decide whether to enroll in your offer, so provide context about your company, the product or service you're selling, and the referral partners incentives reach out to mailto\ support\@soundgtm com for help drafing your offer wee recommend including the following sections subheading that describes the icp and incentive for a referral example do you know marketing and ecommerce leaders at enterprise or mid sized brands? refer them and get $200 when they attend a meeting who needs \<your company name>? provide a few bullet points to describe your product/service and the kinds of buyers that benefit from it this informaiton will help referral partners determine who they know that would be a good fit why \<your company name>?
